Before starting into UX Design work, I worked in game development and curriculum development within the Educational/E-Learning space for about 4 years. During this time, I coded, communicated, and collaborated to expand E-Learning offerings that impact 45,000+ students annually. Through this experience, I learned the importance of structure, high-functionality, and delivering under tight deadlines. This sense of excellence is something that I have carried on as a foundation to my design work where now, I can add stunning visuals and a deeper understanding of user experiences on top of that foundation.

#1: Think Without Limits
Removing limitations that exist on thinking is the quickest path to radical innovation. The reason I am asked to design is not so that I can deliver something thoughtlessly or without imagination. I cannot afford then, to have limitations on my thinking and must unleash my imagination to envision the best possible solutions.
#2: Accessibility & Advocacy
Designs that can’t be enjoyed by everyone or exclude a certain group of people are, at the very least, not living up to their full potential. At the worst they are unhelpful and inconsiderate. Advocate for the edge cases and account for diversity of use… simply because it is worth it.
