Objective
Design a hero page for a trade conference.
Purpose
In creating this page, I wanted to push my visual design skills further by designing in a style that I often don't.

Yolk Cafe Redesign
Objective
Redesign the brand and website of Yolk Cafe in Chicago.
Purpose
This project afforded me with an opportunity to iterate upon something that had been established. As bonus I was able to work within Illustrator to practice creating word marks.

Objective
Uutilize grids to redesign the landing page for an existing website.
Purpose
Once the grid structure was in place, I aimed to modernize the structure of content and add visual design in a way that was inspired by the existing brand.

Parallax Scrolling
Objective
Create an animation that utilized paralax scrolling.
Purpose
In keeping with the upward trend of including animation within UI, I set off to explore parallax scrolling as a form of animation in UI.

Design a desktop native application .

Objective

The exercise set about as a means to explore the expressive nature of typography and how diverse just one typeface can be.

Design a website for an architecture firm.
Purpose
"Given a company's specific content type, how would that inform design decisions throughout a website?" This was the question that guided the work on this highly content driven project.

Recreate Google Drive as a high-fidelity wireframe.
Purpose
I set out to make a copy of Google Drive to practice my design skills, sharpen my design eye, and examine how to design for large amounts of content.
